The CLASSICAL TO COUNTRY Spring Tour!

We are so excited to officially announce the CLASSICAL TO COUNTRY Spring Tour 2013!

Our show truly is “Classical to Country”. As Bill Borgwardt (Alberta Country Music Association) said, “Julie can quickly transform a classical violin into a country fiddle in the same song, while Carli can easily adapt to the style changes on her guitar. Added to the mix is great twin harmony, which won the audience over from the opening song.”

With performance dates in BC, Alberta and Ontario, our show will take you on a journey from Classical to Country!

In addition to the Classical to Country Tour concerts, we will be presenting performance skills masterclasses and workshops to students at music schools in many of the towns and cities we are performing in. The Classical to Country workshop is designed to help students develop their stage presence and improve their confidence as performers!

We are excited to share the news of a special event we will be performing at this week! CBC is hosting an Open House to celebrate their new station THIS FRIDAY in VICTORIA! We will be the featured musicians for the ALL POINTS WEST show from 3-6pm! Happy New Year everyone! We are in planning mode right now for 2013, and will be announcing tour dates, workshop dates, and more in the coming weeks!

We wanted to share an event with you that is happening TOMORROW in Guelph, ON! Many of our Ontario country music friends have joined together to present COUNTRY CARES, a benefit concert for the victims’ families and community of the Newtown, CT tragedy. Please show your support!
