Happy New Year everyone! We hope you had a wonderful holiday are feeling refreshed and renewed! We have some exciting news to kick off the new year: we are headed back to Nashville at the end of this month and will be showcasing as the SOCAN Artist of the Month on the Billy Block Show January 31st! Joining us will be musicians from Terri Clark’s band – Clay Krasner on bass and Jason Cheek on drums. We also have a number of other shows booked while we are in Nashville and are really looking forward to performing in this amazing city again! For those of you in Victoria, check out our homecoming show “Direct From Nashville” on February 18th at the Gordon Head United Church. It is going to be a fun couple of months!

We are home from our whirlwind visit to Hamilton and Toronto, Ontario for our very first CCMAs and Canadian Country Music Week! We had the most amazing time meeting many incredible musicians and making new friends! We feel so lucky to have been part of such a fantastic event. Throughout Country Music Week, we had the opportunity to take part in numerous seminars, attend concerts of many of our Canadian Country idols, as well as to perform at the CCMA Open Mic hosted by a new favourite group of ours, The Stellas. There were many awards nights to get dressed up and mingle – so the photo below is a link to our photo album on facebook, featuring all of the wonderful people that we met! Thank you to each and every one of you – you made our first CCMAs unforgettable! We are already counting down to the 2012 CCMAs in Saskatoon!

We are so excited to be headed to our very first Canadian Country Music Week and CCMA Awards! It will be a great week of fabulous Canadian music, seminars, and awards honoring Canadian country music’s finest! We will also have the chance to meet many other artists and industry professionals!
